FROM OPERATORS

"We used to only find out a client upload failed when they called to complain. RoutineSignal caught a missed monthly upload in the first week, saving us a massive headache."

Dana R.Office Manager, 18-person bookkeeping firm

"I needed a way to know our nightly backups were actually running without setting up a full Nagios stack. RoutineSignal gives me the alert I need without the noise."

FAQ

What is a check-in URL?

It's a unique URL for each routine. You just have your script or tool "ping" (send a GET or POST request to) this URL when it finishes. If we don't hear from it on schedule, we alert you.

How is this different from cron monitoring?

RoutineSignal is built for business operators, not just sysadmins. We focus on the "result" of the work (backups, exports, syncs) rather than just the server process.

What is a grace period?

A grace period is extra time we wait after a deadline before sending an alert. This prevents "false alarms" if a job is just running a few minutes slow.

How do email alerts work?

When a routine misses its check-in and the grace period expires, we immediately send an email to your designated alert address with the routine name and last seen time.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. RoutineSignal is a month-to-month service. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard settings with one click.

What is your data retention policy?

We keep run history for 30 days on Starter plans and 90 days on Business/Plus plans. Your routine configurations are kept as long as your account is active.
